Preschool Karate Classes in Cape Girardeau

Our classes are dynamic and interactive, making them perfect for kids with lots of energy. Through various exercises and games, we help toddlers channel that energy into focus and skill-building.

Preschool have low muscle tone and therefore, although they have high energy, it is short lived and they run out of “gas” (fuel).

Our job is to work with them with the various SKILLZ to help them develop better strength. That is a cornerstone of our community at Cape Martial Arts in Cape Girardeau.

They have limited vocabulary (think traveling to a foreign country with a language you don’t know well), so if what you say is more than 2-3 words or complicated they will quickly lose interest or focus.

We teach them to comprehend those short instructions, and work with them to gradually expand their attention and understanding.

This is one of our top priority at Cape Martial Arts! Our instructors are trained to work with young children, ensuring that each activity is age-appropriate.

Their emotions tend to get out of control with strong preferences and fears along with dependence on mom and or dad. We teach them how to persist through their emotions, learning to become more confident.

Young children are definitely self-centered and the world revolves around them. It’s what they are used to!

In our Cape Martial Arts karate classes for preschool in Cape Girardeau, we focus on teaching them self-restraint by using their words and learning about personal space and fair play.

There are 4 class options per week. Students should average 2 classes per week to stay up to date.
